Since the beginning of this year, the operation of China Europe freight trains (Zhengzhou) has increased by 160% year-on-year. Full load departure and full load return, "returning again" has become a new highlight of the China Europe freight train.

During the Spring Festival holiday, trains will not close, and after the holiday, the China Europe freight trains will depart intensively, heading towards a new journey. This year, Henan will ensure the operation of more than 4000 China Europe freight trains.

According to Tian Meng, a reporter from the headquarters, the Zhengzhou Land Port National Logistics Hub is located at the China Railway Lianji Zhengzhou Central Station in the Kaifeng District. This station is responsible for the operation of the China Europe Railway Express (Zhengzhou) and is also an important window connecting Henan's "Land Silk Road". Here, we can see that the on-site trucks are busy entering and exiting, and three gantry cranes are working intensively to lift goods for the China Europe freight trains. Since the new year, the average daily number of arrivals and departures for the China Europe freight trains here has been over 10.

In the cargo loading and unloading area, small forklifts shuttle back and forth, tightly packing the goods.

A train filled with 55 standard containers travels north from here and enters Zhengzhou North Station, one of the busiest marshalling yards in China, for safety checks before departure.

The China Europe freight train started its transportation acceleration as soon as it left Zhengzhou North Station. Three days later, it will exit through the Alashankou Port and then arrive in Hamburg, Germany and Moscow, Russia.

The train on this side has just been shipped. One hour later, another train loaded with plates, zinc ingots and other goods returned from Central Asia to Zhengzhou Central Station. The staff introduced that there will be 4 return trains arriving one after another on that day. From 'heavy trains go, empty trains return' to the current 'heavy trains go, heavy trains return', the China Europe freight trains are running more and more frequently, and the circulation is becoming more smooth.

At present, with Zhengzhou as the center, the China Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) has a cargo collection radius of 1500 kilometers, a business network covering more than 140 regions in over 40 countries, and more than 8000 domestic and foreign partners.

Thanks to the logistics advantage of "shipping from the factory", more than 10 logistics suppliers and over 20 automotive parts enterprises have gathered around the Zhengzhou Land Port National Logistics Hub Airport area. The role of hubs in driving trade, gathering industries through trade, and providing industry feedback to hubs is further highlighted.
